Middle Child Syndrome

What a rough life a middle child has! You sort of have to do something drastic to get attention...but don't worry, my middle chidren can find a way to get that coveted attention. Chloe has "selective hearing". She claims she can't hear well when she doesn't want to do something. Anyway, she decided a few weeks ago to stuff some kleenex down her ears. She came home from school and told us her ears were hurting and maybe some kleenex accidently got put in her ears. "Accidently" enough that we couldn't even see it in her ears and had to go to the doctor to have him take it out. "Accidently" enough that it was stuffed so far down one ear that the doctor couldn't even see it until he looked at it for the 3rd time. And mind you these pieces of kleenex were as big as the tip of my pinky!!! Apparently we were not giving her enough attention so a trip to the doctor is what was needed!!
