Sorry I didn't get to post all the pictures I wanted to. This is Chloe's newest aunt, Rachel. She was so excited to get her picture taken with a real live princess.

Here is Jayden's hair from the front....

And from the back. The picture doesn't do it justice, it looked really cute. (And took a REALLY long time.)

Here are just a couple of pictures of Annabelle and Chloe I found in their matching dresses.

I don't have a whole lot to say except for everyone under the age of 13 at our house is WAY excited about Christmas. Everyone over the age of 13 is either a scrouge (trent) or overwhelmed at the amount of presents that need to be wrapped (me). We are trying to be frugal and told the kids that they would get three presents each. That has proven a little hard to do seeing as how the three things Jayden asked for are way more expensive than what Chloe or Annabelle wants. Coleman ever the diplomat wanted to know if the three presents he asked for could be a lot of money. Let me preface this by saying we had told the kids that they would be getting three presents because thats how many Jesus got and we are celebrating his birthday and all. Coleman was wondering if his three presents could be worth a lot of money because after all Jesus got GOLD! (and two other presents) They will be pleasantly surprised to find that they each have a few more than three presents and Trent will be pleasantly surprised that we stayed within our Christmas budget!
Our pink camera has finally come out of the hiding spot so we finally have halloween pictures. I will post them another day seeing as how we have plenty of other pictures to post! Jake, Trent's youngest brother got married on Friday and it was fun to go to the temple and hear the advice that they were given. I started thinking that I don't remember one thing that was said to us during our sealing! (AHH! I know!) It was a good time to reflect on how to strengthen our marriage and to remind us of the plan that Heavenly Father has for all of us!

The days of a stationary baby are over for the Moss Family household. . . Annabelle is now crawling. She does it her own way, kind of a push off with one foot and a crawl with the other. The best part is she switches as to which leg does the pushing and which leg does the crawling! Although I sweep my floors at least twice a day, I am amazed at the amount of dirt (and dog hair) still left on the floor. This is evident to me when Annabelle crawls all over the place. Here I thought I was doing a decent job of getting it all up, but alas all my cleaning is done in vain! Her socks and knees are the tell tell sign of a poor job at housekeeping!
Much to the sadness of many in our household, the Music Man is now over. Chloe is still constantly singing the songs she learned and talks about "Harold Hill" every chance she gets. On the day of the first performance Chloe told me, "Tonight is the first plerfor... perflor...well tonight is the first thing of the music man!" They loved every minute of rehersals, performances, and cast party. Trent even got in on the action as he was the resident "sound guy". He even got a letter from the stake presidency saying they had never had the sound so good on any stake production. Looks like Trent has a permanent calling! Although Chloe didn't have a starring role, even the director said she stole the show. She knew every word to every song and was truely having so much fun being in the limelight. Jayden as we all already knew, loves the stage. She had a great time dancing and singing as well.
This past weekend Coleman spent with his cousins. One of the stipulations for him to have cousins over was that they were to rake the leaves in the front yard. Coleman and McCoy (who is also 8) were doing pretty well. (As well as 8 year olds can be expected to work.) Mitchell (who is 5) was not doing so much. Coleman kept coming inside to tell me that they were doing all the work and Mitchell was just playing. Finally he came in and said, "Mom. Me and Coy are doing all the work and Mitchell is just playing. I even drew him a pie chart to show him how much we were doing and how little he was doing. He didn't even get it." A 5 year old who doesn't know a pie chart? What is his kindergarten teacher teaching him?

Little Miss Pickle

Can you believe it? The girl does not crawl but can pull herself up. Mind you I said she doesn't crawl but girlfriend can get around! She just doesn't actually crawl. It's more of a one legged scoot. Maybe if I get fancy enough I will video it and put it on my blog. (Don't hold your breath, I am not very fancy these days.)
So I am having camera issues. We have two cameras, one for home and one for my school. I have been using my "school" camera for everything because it is smaller (and pink my favorite color!) My issue is this: in the past four weeks I have lost the camera probably 7 times. At the present time the camera is in lost mode. The cute camera has all of my halloween pictures so I will save them for another post. But here are a few pictures of Little Miss Pickle and Chloe. They were both pink poodles. Chloe was Fifi and Pickle was Fifi junior.

Just a cute picture of the sweetest baby ever. She really is the happiest thing around. We love her so much!!!! Keep her in your prayers because she is having more kidney troubles. She is now on kidney infection number 3 in about four months. We have had a tough time trying to get her into primarys for the tests but our patience is almost to an end. Her appointment is next Tuesday. Today we went in to see her pediatrician who said that most likely she will need to have surgery to correct some "wiring." The good news is she also has a hernia in her belly button so they can fix them both at the same time! Keep her in your prayers, we need all the help we can get!

So I know I should be better about blogging and pictures and all that stuff, but...I'm not. I am just going to face that fact now and then maybe I won't feel so guilty about it!!

School is back in full force! Jayden is in 7th grade this year at Evergreen Jr. High. She is LOVING it. After only a few days of school she came home and told me she was going to run for 7th grade class president. Yikes!! All my junior high memories came flooding back and I wanted to scream...don't do it! After talking it over with some friends, she decided she would run for secretary. (She had some other friends that were running for president and vice.) Well after much stress on my part to come up with the perfect slogan and skit, we got it all worked out and...drumroll.....she won! She was so excited but has since found out that many of the boys voted for her "because she was hot". Junior high has been super fun for her this year, more boys, more friends, more fun!!!

Coleman is in 3rd grade. He has a great teacher, Mrs. Draper and is in the same class with many of his good friends. He is so glad to be back at Rosecrest! He loves walking to school with his good friend Annalisa, and even gets to walk home with her on Monday and Wednesday. He has started Kung Fu and LOVES scouts. He sometimes has trouble with all of these sisters but I think he loves them. (Most of the time!)
Chloe is in both of my preschool classes. Our morning class is a little crazy, but our afternoon class is really calm. Chloe has made lots of friends in each of our classes. So the other day Chloe had some letters out and had spelled M O P. She said "look mom! Look what I spelled!" I said, "Cool, mop." She said, "Oh I was trying to spell, OMGosh!" I tell you, we are in for trouble with that girl!!!

Annabelle is growing so fast! She is almost 8 months, but has yet to crawl. (YEAH!) We are hoping to get a few more weeks before she takes off. She needs to be the center of attention and doesn't like to be left alone for even a few minutes. (One more reason why I never get anything done!) She has had several kidney infections so is scheduled to get some more tests done to find out if she has any kidney damage or anything wrong down there. She gives the best kisses (the slobbery kind) and she loves her siblings. Except for the time when Coleman was going to the Utah football game and had his face painted red and white. Coleman walked in the room and Annabelle FREAKED out. She wouldn't stop crying until he had left the room. Halloween is going to be interesting with her!
For those of you that don't already know, I had a scare a few weeks ago. After my classes one day, the left side of my face and arm started going numb. I went to the doctor thinking it was bells palsy and left with an appointment for an MRI. Long story short, they don't know what is causing it yet, although I have an appointment with the neurologist later this month. Hopefully we can find some answers!!

Summer has come....and gone

This summer has gone by soooooo fast! As every summer comes to a close, I am excited for school to start but will miss the lazy days of summer! Although this summer we have stayed close to home we have had a great time just playing around! We spent many a day at lagoon with cousins or friends or just our fam. Every wednesday we went swimming with friends. We went bowling, out to lunch way tooo much, went shopping, saw lots of movies, and had lots of sleep overs!!
Coleman got baptized this summer! He turned eight on June 29 and got baptized July 5. Many of our friends and family were able to attend. After he was baptized we went to Z Pizzeria (a favorite of Coleman's). The next day he decided to fast for the first time for his grandma and a cousin. We are very proud of Coleman and his desire to follow in the footsteps of his older brother, Jesus Christ. He is setting a great example for his sisters by wanting to go on a mission as well. He will only wear a white shirt and tie to church and loves to wear a future missionary name tag. We love you Coleman!!

School starts next week and we are all a little nervous about it. Brace yourself....Jayden will be going into jr high. I know you are thinking the same thing I am.... how did she get so old? (When I obviously haven't aged a bit?) Seriously she is a great girl and I hope she will have a great year! Here are some pictures of her being well.... her.

Coleman will be going into 3rd grade He has decided to go back to Rosecrest this year. One of his very best friends will be in his class so he is very excited. He also has a great teacher so this year will be a fun one for him!

Chloe is well....Chloe. There is no other way to describe her. Recently I heard this conversation between her and her cousin Kayli.

Chloe has a broken cell phone in her hand.
Chloe: Kayli, let's text.

Kayli: Okay

Chloe: No you need to open your cell phone like this. (She proceeds to show Kayli that she needs to open her cell phone to use the buttons.)

Kayli: (laughing) Okay. I'm texting you.

Chloe: Well what does it say?

Kayli: It says What are you doing?

Chloe: Oh. Nothing much.

After several "texts" I look over to see Chloe standing on the counter with her toes on the phone.

Chloe: Look, I can text you with my feet!!

If you ask Chloe how old she is she will tell you the truth, 4. Next time you see her, ask her how old she wants to be. (Her answer will be 12.) But the truth is somewhere closer to 16. She idolizes Jayden and Kayli and wants to be just like them. Fortunately for us at this time, Jayden is still a pretty good kid. Hopefully that will stay true!!!

Annabelle, the love of our lives is growing so fast! She is 6 months old now and such a happy baby most of the time. She loves to be the center of attention and loves each of her siblings. She loves Chloe to "scream" at her and then she will "scream" back. This is apparently their way of talking. Her face lights up every time she sees her brother. Jayden loves to hang her upside down and watch her smile and laugh. She loves to attack us and give us great big slobbery kisses. She is so fun to have around!! She sits up so well now and folds herself in half and tries to eat the floor. She hates to be on her stomach so hopefully we can bide ourselves some time before she starts becoming mobile!

Sorry it's been forever!!!

Sorry it seems like everytime I sit down at the computer, I have a million other things to do and limited time but I am finally going to update y'all on what we have been doing!!
Summer is finally here!!! Friday was the first official day of summer vacation...and it was cold and raining off and on. Maybe it was the rain (that's what I will blame it on for now) but I tell you Coleman and Chloe could not keep it together! They were arguing every 30 seconds...so much so that Trent told me he is hiding the key to his gun cabinet so that I won't shoot myself!! (That is probably a good plan...especially come august!) Later that night we went to a cancer fundraiser to watch Jayden dance...it was way fun and for a good cause.
I am just posting a bunch of pictures...

This one is from Annabelle's blessing. We decided to bless her at our house instead of in fast and testimony meeting. We also celebrated Chloe's 4th birthday too...kill two birds with one stone!!

This was Chloe's favorite birthday present (a kangaroo webkin.) Thanks Aunt Nicki!

This isn't a great picture of it but Grandma Pauline also gave her a very cute gardening set. Chloe loves to garden. She used these tools to help plant tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. Thanks a bunch Grandma!!

So this was hillarious! Annabelle was so tired but wouldn't go to sleep. I put her in the johnny jump up while I was cooking dinner and pretty soon... this is what I saw! Every once in a while she would wake up and jump a bit and then go back to sleep!

The votes are in for worst mom of the year.... and I won hands down. I thought I would be a great mom and take Chloe and Annabelle to the park. It was about 70 degrees and sunny. A wonderful day..not too hot...not too cold. Apparently it was hotter than I thought for we got home and Annabelle was a little fussy. I took off her bow and saw the reason why she was so fussy...she had a terrible sunburn! I felt awful!

Chloe getting ready for her first dance recitial...

Dancing..... (photography by dad....)

This is one of Annabelle's favorite things to do...chew on her clothes!

This was at the cancer fundraiser. It was called Relay for Life. They had a bunch of fun things to do like face paining, inflatables, and entertainment. It was great!

Sorry I couldn't get this one to turn right!!

This one is Jayden dancing at Relay for Life...they were dancing to Take Me Out to the Ballgame

This is with Miss Teen Utah or as Chloe and her friend Kendon put it...a real live princess! Check out her crown!!

Chloe's idols...the Jazz dancers. (The one with dark hair is Chloe's favorite. Her name is Ariel. The little mermaid is Chloe's favorite princess so it was an obvious choice.)

Coleman's idols...anything star wars. We also met Darth Vader and a Trooper guy. I'm not a star wars person so I'm not exactly sure who it was...Sorry!! This picture was taken after face paint and the dunking machine. So although I was tempted earlier in the day, I didn't really give him two black eyes...it's just left over face paint. Two cute girls!!

And this is how Annabelle ended the night.....

Any of you who have multiple children know how difficult it is to get a picture where everyone is smiling and looking at the camera at the same time! Here is our best attempt at a four child easter picture! Jayden wanted to know why everyone was in black and white since easter was supposed to be bright colors. My attempt at telling her that black and white was "in" failed. Despite the black and white easter dresses... they had a good time. Jayden helped the easter bunny hide eggs and Coleman and Chloe enjoyed finding them. (We are still missing one green camoflauged egg of Colemans. He is still looking.) Annabelle had a great nap during the easter egg hunt.
Life is back to the hustle and bustle. I went back to work the first of April. I enjoyed my time off but missed my class while I was gone. It was fun to be back in the classroom with them. (Ask me in a few weeks if I feel the same way!!!) Annabelle has come to school with me and has been a trooper!! The first day was a little bit of an adjustment but the other days have been great!! (Once again ask me in a few weeks if I feel the same way!!!)
Really and truely, our lives are blessed. I know that our Heavenly Father has sent Annabelle to us for a special reason at this time. I am greatful that he gives us what we need, even when we don't know what that is. When I found out I was pregnant, we were not trying to have a baby and I was angry. I didn't know I wanted more children and this was just messing up my plan! But I grew more comfortable with the idea and once I laid eyes on her, I knew she was special. I didn't realize just how special until mom was diagnosed with cancer. I truely believe that Heavenly Father sent her to us to help us through this difficult time. She is such a happy baby filled with the spirit. She helps us see how close we are to heaven and how much each person there is rallying for us. I feel my grandma so close around her and I am grateful that we have been blessed to have her in our lives.

Ok so anyone who knows Chloe knows that she is OBSESSED with her binkies and "silkies". When she was turning three she promised that she would be too big for binkies. Well her third birthday came and went and still she has her binkies and silkies. Next she promised us that she would give all her binkies to our baby when she came. Well Annabelle is here but Chloe still has those binkies and silkies!! To give you a little background the silky thing started when she was a baby. Don't laugh but she puts them up to her nose and rubs them against her nose and sniffs them. (I said don't laugh!!) So yesterday we were on my bed, Annabelle looking around sort of whining and Chloe watching tv with her binky and silky. So when Annabelle started to whine, I put her binky in her mouth and tried to get her to calm down. Chloe proceeded to put her silky up to Annabelle's nose and says, "Here baby, here's a silky." She rubbed it on Annabelle's nose and says, "now sniff. Sniff. Sniff." It was hillarious!! I wish I had the video camera out!!!

She's finally here!!!

Here is our newest cutie patootie, Miss Annabelle Jane Moss! (Adorable, we know!!!!) She was born on February 12 at 8:51 pm. She weighed in at 6 lbs. 14 oz. and 20 inches long. She has been a fantastic baby so far. . . let's all hope it stays that way!!! Jayden, Coleman, and Chloe have been so excited and have been great at helping out. At this point in time, they all like to change diapers. (This will change, we know but we are taking advantage of it while we can!!) Coleman is doing a fantastic job of keeping the peace. This means he is playing games with Chloe and trying hard not to bother Jayden. Although, he did ask why people were bringing us dinners because in his words, "mom seems fine." Chloe is loving being a big sister, helping out in whatever way she can. She got very excited today when she found out that our baby gets to stay with us forever! (She was under the impression that we would have to give her back.) Lets hope that life continues to go as smoothly as possible with four children!!

AGGGGHHHHH!!!

It's official! Jayden is 12! Aggghhh!!! She had a great birthday with lots of presents (getting EVERYTHING she wanted but didn't get for Christmas!) She has been to her first several young women activities and loves not being in primary any more!!
Christmas was very fun. . . Santa forgot the Dora kitchen but brought Chloe a Little Mermaid kitchen so all was good. Coleman got a guitar and is slowing learning how to play with the help of Grandpa Ed and Dad.
A bit of scary news. . . Trent crashed his car on Jan. 2. He is fine but the car is not! Enter our search for a used car with insurance money. . . Not fun!!!
So even after two sessions of accupuncture and lots of walking. . still no baby yet!! (I know, I know, it's still 3 weeks early) Everyone is ansy to get this baby here.... especially Shannon! Hopefully she will cooperate quickly because Trent's bosses will be in town the last week of January. For her safety as well as everyone elses (and sanity). . . we hope she comes before then! Any more ideas?
